Presented to organizations whose collaborative spirit, support, and partnership have been instrumental in elevating ICPC North America’s mission in regional competitions.
Volunteer Awards
Dr. Nouhad Rizk Nouhad is the site director of the University of Houston site and coach of UH’s teams, and Jose is the head of the tech staff there. Despite UH never making it very far up on the Regional leaderboard, for many years their small site enthusiastically served all of central Texas, and hosted teams from much larger schools such as Rice, Texas A&M, and UT Austin. These schools are now pulling their weight and hosting sites, but I am extremely grateful for all of Nouhad and Jose’s hard work making past contests successful.
